We are all surfing through a lot of change, uncertainty and information. The constant stream of information can be overwhelming to your nervous system, kicking you into a constant state of fight, flight, or freeze. Playing with the size of your attention can help you regulate your stress response.

  1. Your nervous system can’t tell the different between a bear charging at you and all of the information charging at you from your phone!
  2. Your attention can be small, medium, or large. Adjusting the size of your attention will help you manage stress.
  3. Check in regularly with the 4 S’s to determine what size your attention should be.
  4. The 4 S’s are sleep, sickness, satiation, and support. Take care of your HANGRY state!
